In this week's episode, Jordan and Anna chat all things prayer! What are the different 'types' of prayer? How do we pray? What does God want to hear? So often we say prayer is one of our core ways of working through a muddle with God, but what does that actually mean?
Philippians 4:6 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
The Lord's Prayer - Matthew 6:9-13 - "9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’"
Ephesians 3:20 - "20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,"
Romans 8:26 - "26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."
